I have been walking my own Biblically based freedom and healing journey for the last 30 years. The freedom I have experienced has led me to desire the same for others. I have spent the last 18 years learning several different inner healing techniques and modalities. I love to watch the Lord engage and heal the hearts of the wounded. He is amazing and His freedom is worth the hard work of digging into painful areas. Deeper Walk has helped me to bring in some of the brain science and capacity building into all that I do. Also a former Children’s Minister with a heart for trauma-informed care and spiritual development. I'm passionate about guiding individuals—both young and old—toward emotional resilience and healing through Christ. I am a certified “Bounce for Kids” Instructor and am a seasoned curriculum writer, I offer a compassionate, Christ-centered approach to spiritual and emotional growth.

I’m a Certified Prayer Minister of Deeper Walk International. Two decades ago, I was drawn to Biblically based inner healing while serving others through prehospital medicine and the U.S. military. My passion lies in helping others discover an unmistakable relational connection with Jesus that leads to healing, clarification of identity, guidance in life, and a deeper intimacy with God and others. I understand how the world wounds us and the strategies Satan uses to keep us from living in freedom. Linda Scheffert
I am a Certified Prayer Minister of Deeper Walk International trained in inner healing prayer. I have a heart for helping others experience the deep, transformative healing that comes from encountering God's love and truth. I walk alongside individuals as they invite the Holy Spirit into areas of past pain, emotional wounds, and spiritual blockages, allowing God's presence to bring restoration, freedom, and peace. With 45 years of experience in the medical field addressing physical needs, I now apply the same compassion to help others with their emotional and spiritual needs. My journey into prayer ministry began with my own experience of healing and renewal through Christ. This led to a passion for creating safe, Spirit-led spaces where others can be gently guided toward wholeness and a deeper relationship with God. In each session, I combine biblical wisdom, compassionate listening, and the leading of the Holy Spirit to support you as you bring your story before the Lord. My desire is to see hearts restored, identities renewed, and lives aligned with God's truth and purposes.

I am a Certified Prayer Minister of Deeper Walk International. It has always been a passion of mine to see people live in all the freedom Jesus came to give. My desire is to help facilitate others to find deep inner healing that results in the abundant life Jesus speaks about. It is my delight to walk beside people as we seek the Lord together for His perspective. One glimpse of Jesus changes everything. I have a couple decades of experience working with the deeply wounded. I am on a healing journey of my own, and I want the same for all who desire it!
Bev Phillips
We have all been wounded by sin (our own and others’), and the path to freedom and real satisfaction requires connecting with the Lord and experiencing His healing. I found a measure of freedom and healing through 25+ years of studying and teaching God’s Word in Bible Study Fellowship, but it was incomplete. I was missing something, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. In His grace, God led me to Deeper Walk International, where I completed their Prayer Ministry Certification program. I learned practical ways to resist spiritual attack and receive God’s healing through prayer. As a Certified Prayer Minister, I love helping others connect with Jesus and receive the healing, hope, freedom and satisfaction only He can give. My preference is to meet in person (in either San Antonio or Rockport, Texas), but I’m open to meeting with people online as the Lord leads. Growing up in a Christian home with ministry on my heart since I was a child and decades of church leadership and education, I have been pursuing intimacy with God for a long time. Walking through mental and neurological health issues of my family gave me an interest in and understanding of how we are “transformed by the renewing of our minds.” Training from stepping into foster care and adoption introduced me to attachment. Still, I longed for the kind of intimate relationship with God I saw in others and had experienced at times myself, but wanted it all of the time. When a wise man introduced me to the Life Model and Immanuel prayer, the deep connection to Immanuel opened up in new ways. This is what led me to become a prayer minister through Deeper Walk where I have also served as a TA for the course. My desire is to continually experience joyful connection to Jesus and help others experience it Him as well.

Before I received Jesus’s restoring work in me, I was stuck in my spiritual growth and felt distant from Him, even though I was in the Bible and served in church. When Jesus healed my wounds and trauma-filled past, and the chains that shackled me were broken off, I finally found lasting joy, peace, and freedom. I desire this for all hurting people. This is why God led me to become a Certified Prayer Minister through Deeper Walk. Scripture, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, listening prayer, and wise counsel are the foundation of our sessions. Listening prayer is what helps us connect with God to hear the voice of our Shepherd, Jesus Christ, and follow His guidance (John 10:27).
